Thiessen Orchards Donating 75,000 Pounds of Apples
on Their 75th Anniversary in Business
Thiessen Apple Orchards has teamed up with The Salvation Army in Leamington and is making a donation of fresh apples to help stock the food bank for the entire Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent County Regions.

In celebrating Thiessen’s 75th year in business, Peter Thiessen, a 2nd generation farmer, is committing 75,000 pounds of fresh apples to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army will be involved in harvesting and distributing the fresh apples to local charitable organizations throughout the community...    more.

Thiessen Orchards, located in the most southern part of Canada, welcomes visitors from all over the world! We offer Pick Your Own Apples, free wagon rides in the orchard, hay barn with 2 giant slides, fun and games for the kids, face painting by Sunshine the clown and a picnic area. The Kountry Kitchen also serves delicious Sausage on a bun, Jumbo hot dogs, Fresh apple cider (hot or cold), homemade apple pie and caramel apples! You can't find a fresher apple than one you pick yourself!

  


We are now closed for the 2009 season. We will be open for the 2010 season
September 9, 2010 picking Royal Gala, McIntosh and Honey Crisp.
