A Fun-Tastic Place to Be
Our huge play area (The FUN ACRE) is located right in the middle of our orchard and has 2 huge swings, 2 giant tube slides, barrel train ride, climbing areas and more! Your children will benefit from being active, having fun on the farm and maybe meet a new friend along the way.

Trike Track

Get Spooked…
If You Dare!
Ghoulishly good fun, our haunted barn is always a crowd-pleaser. Ticket sales for the Scaredy Cat Barn start at 10am at the Admission Silo.
The Scaredy Cat Barn opens on our first weekend and runs Friday-Sunday and PA Days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Lights are on. No live actors). Tickets are $5.
Suitable for families with children 6 years old and up.

The other night six farm animals snuck into the house and stole Farmer Joe’s apple pie. He chased the animals into the corn maze and needs your help finding their tracks. Think you can find out who stole Farmer Joe’s pie?

Farm Friends
Our barnyard companions will provide plenty of entertainment to everyone visiting Thiessen Orchards. Watch our goats climb their Billy Goat Bridge or get up close and personal to feed and pet them. We also have bunnies and our very talkative Gus The Goose!

The Sunflower Field is available after hours for photography sessions!
Available 7 days a week during our regular season from 6-8pm

Caterpillar Ride
You may recognize the Caterpillar Ride, previously found at Colasanti’s! The Caterpillar Ride found a new home at Thiessen Orchards in 2021 and it was a hit with our visitors! Located in the Greenhouse, close to The Flower Shop at Thiessen’s parking lot.

Barrel Train
Kids can take a fun trip through the Orchard and check out all the apples growing on the trees in our Barrel Train! Each child gets their own barrel to ride in (or the tractor caboose!). The Barrel Train picks up it’s passengers between the Fun Acre and the orchard.

Tractor and Wagon Ride
Fun for the whole family! Hitch a ride on our wagon and get dropped off for apple picking throughout the orchard. Our tractor picks up passengers beside Casey The Combine, near the Sunflower Field.

Casey The Combine
New to Thiessen Orchards in 2021, Casey the Combine is a favourite attraction for youngsters! Hop inside the cab and take Casey for a (pretend) ride! Then head to the back of the combine and slide down one of 3 awesome slides!

Live Entertainment
Vera & Johnny
Vera and Johnny have been a staple at Thiessen Orchards for many years! They create such a fun atmosphere with live music every Saturday and Sunday on the farm. Grab a bite to eat and hang out in our picnic area while enjoying music by this talented duo. Dancing and singing along is always encouraged!
Ron The Magician
Ron is a fan favourite at our annual Halloween Extravaganza. He amazes his audience with his magic tricks and even makes volunteers from the audience float!

Cured
Local craft beer by Cured Craft Brewing Co. is available for sale Saturdays and Sundays throughout September and October. NEW THIS YEAR! Watch for the Thiessen Orchards apple cinnamon beer by Cured!
Halloween Extravaganza
Our annual Halloween Extravaganza is Saturday, October 21, 2023! Come dressed up in your costumes for a day of trick or treating on the farm! Includes candy, small pumpkin, magic show, meet the characters, general admission to all activities PLUS the Haunted Barn!

Spookley the Square Pumpkin
Spookley the Square Pumpkin has joined up with Thiessen’s to spread the word about anti-bullying.
Learn Spookley’s story as you travel through the pathway. Educational story boards are displayed throughout the area to educate all visitors about anti-bullying.
